Lawrence M Klein, DDS, PA | Anxiolysis in Boca Raton

7301-A W. Palmetto Park Rd.
Suite 204A
Boca Raton, Fl 33433

Anxiolysis is a form of oral sedation using a light sedative, such as Valium or Xanax. It is not as strong as oral conscious sedation, so it is recommended for those with mild to moderate anxiety. You will remain conscious for the procedure, but any tension and anxiety will fade away. You will be able to talk and breathe on your own during the procedure as well. What can be a nerve-racking experience for some is morphed into a relaxing experience. Please discuss with one of our staff if you think this type of sedation may be helpful to you. If you have been fretting having dental work done, call us to learn about our anxiety free options for dentistry.

We recommend that you take the oral sedative 45 minutes to one hour before your appointment time.  If you take it before leaving home you should have someone drive you to the appontment since your ability to drive may be impared. We also recommend that you have someone drive you home since the effects may last for several hours following the procedure.
